Drupal.org has announced that tomorrow, July 7th, Drupal 7.50 will be released, which is a big jump in the release cycle since we were already at 7.44. The fact that Drupal 7 is jumping so many versions is not a whim, but rather it means a lot of changes and improvements for this version of Drupal and in accordance with the six-month cycle for major changes established by the core team.

At Seed, we work with agile methodology to deliver visible results in each iteration. Through short meetings and a collaborative process with the client, we define user stories, design, develop, and validate in two-week cycles, ensuring constant progress and efficient projects!

At Seed, we use advanced tools to ensure quality, performance and security in every project. We monitor the development, document the code, manage versions with Git and plan deliveries with clear schedules. In addition, we define communication channels and change control processes to keep everything under control, so that the project flows without surprises!

This is a recurring question that our clients ask themselves when they are choosing between the options to develop their solutions and these are our arguments for them to consider Drupal as a very good option.

On September 23rd, together with Acquia, we held the Webinar "Everything you need to know about Drupal 8", the duration is only one hour but we managed to cover the basic concepts that are important to know about this new version, we invite you to watch the recording that is already available.

By contributing translations to  Drupal.org  we are doing our part to help the community to use it in different languages, which ultimately benefits many people who do not have the slightest command of the English language.

With around 118,713 reported installs at the moment,  Zen  is almost twice as popular as Omega, which comes in second. This means there is a large community answering questions, writing documentation, and fixing bugs, along with some hardened code, that other base themes can't match.

We know that not everyone is ready to make the leap to Drupal 8, but surely they are still unaware of the equally powerful aspects of Drupal 7, that is the case for those who have not yet been encouraged to try the Zen theme for Drupal 7.
